OUTSIDE | JUNE 12, 2021
Many thanks to everyone who joined us on June 12th!
It was a remarkable day and we are so grateful for the sense of hope, inspiration and community we were able to create together.
The video shows highlights from the day and you can view a playlist of most talks on our new YouTube channel! (One is still in post-production...)
TEDxWaltham is expanding its volunteer team for 2021 and is looking for people who want to help bring ideas worth sharing to our community. Opportunities include supporting the event in June, helping with ticketing, virtual and/or live event technical production, and more.
Our partners are innovative companies that want to support the spread of new ideas, and contribute to our community by providing in-kind or financial support to our events. In turn, we feature partners on our website and provide other benefits. If this interests you, we'd love to speak with you about how you can be involved.
We are a small group of people interested in exploring themes and showcasing novel ideas of relevance both locally and globally. We are proud to call Waltham home and aim for our events to reflect both the diversity and longstanding history of innovation that characterize our city.
If you'd like to receive updates on our events, subscribe to our mailing list.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWaltham, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWaltham event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
Learn more about TEDx on the TEDx program page.
